I’ve recently acquired three different Wii Sports Save Dumps (Thanks skibur and BigRedPimp). I’ve been going through them looking for interesting stuff.

You can find the dumps: here

data.bin is a Wii Sports save file with one registered Mii.
data2.bin is a Wii Sports save file (from the same Wii as data.bin) with two registered Miis
datat3.bin is a Wii Sports save file (from a different Wii as the first two .bins).

Since ndstool’s default arm7 bin, doesn’t have wifi built-in, yet, I just decided to host a new default arm7 bin for people to download.

I know this isn’t THAT helpful, but I wanted to just throw this up here incase anyone, like me, doesn’t want to hassle with setting up arm7 source code and such.

I’m currently working on two projects.

One was orginally going to be for the wifi compo, however, due to the busyness of the past months, work has become slow.
I’m currently toying with the idea of just waiting and releasing the game for the NeoFlash compo. I’m still thinking, though.

The second project is a client for the game Wolfpack Empire ( http://empserver.sourceforge.net/news.html )
The empclient source is very easy to use and will make going easy.
I’m pretty excited about this project.

With the deadline of the Wifi compo coming up quickly, I’ve been working very quickly.
This will be the first game for the DS I’ve released. Hopefully, I can gain something from it… like a Palm pilot or Xbox.

I thank everyone who sent me an email about the 2D graphic artist.

Because of recent happenings at E3, I won’t be finishing the game idea mentioned in previous posts. If anyone cares, I was going to do a Starfox clone… but because Nintendo is doing one… I’ll let the pros do it.

Anyway, the 2D artist was NOT for the Starfox clone. The artist is for another upcoming project, that I plan on submitting to the Wifi compo at ndshb.com . I don’t plan on releasing a lot of details about this project till I release it. Only a few people know what it is. Keep it a secret if you know what it is.

I’m very happy school is ending soon.

Everyone should be aware that I’m currently looking for a decent 2D graphics artist.

I was working on this little name generator for a project and I decided just to release the binary for people to play around with.

Copy the .nds file along with all the .txt files to the root directory of your CF card.

If anyone wants to edit the existing prefix.txt, mid.txt, and suffix.txt files, go right ahead.
If you make any cool name sets (elf, hobbit, etc.) be sure to send them to me!

Name Generator

Thanks to all of you contributed game ideas. I liked a lot of them!

However, the main project that I’ve decided to work on is an idea from Stoney’s blog. I plan on working on a clone of this game.

Anyway, once again, thanks to all of you who submitted ideas! I do plan on using these ideas some other time.
